Does my phone support eSIM?

Check whether your iPhone, Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy supports eSIM, including regional exceptions, and how to confirm it on any phone.

Check any phone in 10 seconds

Open your phone app and dial *#06#. If the screen shows an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. If you only see IMEI numbers, it doesn't.

Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked to use a travel eSIM. If you bought it on a contract, ask your carrier to confirm.

Per Apple: iPhones bought in mainland China only support eSIM on iPhone 17e and iPhone Air. In Hong Kong and Macao only iPhone 17e, 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, Air, 16e, 13 mini, 12 mini and SE (2nd gen and later) support eSIM.
